Under the Stars: Allotment Social Garden

In response to climate crises, dwindling resources, and the instability of socio-economic systems, a community urban garden has been established – a practical laboratory for resilience, cooperation, and local self-sufficiency.

The initiative offers 47 cultivation plots, each measuring 25 m², allocated to individuals, informal groups, and organizations, creating a structure of community-based action grounded in trust and responsibility.

The garden enables not only food production but also education, the strengthening of social bonds, and the development of an urban culture of co-decision-making. Participants collectively co-create the garden’s regulations, share tools, and engage in an educational program that promotes urban gardening. The project emphasizes inclusivity – no gardening experience is required; what matters is openness to collaboration and shared learning.

The garden functions as a micro-ecosystem of social and ecological responsibility, experimenting with alternative models of urban life rooted in cooperation, care, and locality.

It is a space that activates new scenarios for the urban future – shared, sustainable, and resilient.
